I'm tired of this great department being demoralized every budget time. We keep giving positions up and every year they forget. We have shown this administration how we can be a revenue maker but for some reason SOMEONE doesn't want us to be!
I live on a buget, so I will get rid of food and keep my beer, now that makes as much sense as geting rid of firefighters and a station. When a new busness comes into a city they look at the protection, if it's not there then they will not come.
there has been alot of fire calls and i think we need as many firefighters and all the stations to stay.. we citizens dont want to see any firefighters cut and a stationed close because that can lead to longer response times for calls.
we need all fire depts in the area! with all the trains not all trucks can get to other sides of town to calls! if it was ur home or u who needed help u would b awfully upset if they couldnt get to you!
I'd prefer you remove staff members in city offices than the police and firefighter positions. Or reduce the budget of the library and other 'nice, but not necessary in today's computer environment' budget items.
Keep what we have . I know it looks good, but don't spend so much on flowers and center dividers.
We need all our firefighters and statios fpr everyiones safety

How come every time budget is in trouble The Fire Department is looked at to save the day. It has been my professional experience that those fires don't put themselves out. Come on Mayor do what I elected you to do and lead this City.
