Increased staffing reduces the physical and mental strain on our firefighters as well as the safety and well being of not only our first responders, but the residents and visitors of the City of Hazleton
As a volunteer firefighter myself, nothing is worse than going to a call at 0300 and knowing you might be alone. Protect the community but protect the firefighters as well
Our first responders need to be safe when responding
Firefighter who wants to make it home to my family safely and also live in the city!
Safer staffing because I don’t want my husband to be killed on the job.

As the mother of a Hazleton City firefighter, this issue is personal to me. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect our community, and they deserve the proper staffing and resources to do their jobs safely. Their safety matters just as much as the lives they work so hard to protect.
