Dear Mayor and Council member,
As a concerned citizen, I am very upset to learn that you are eroding our public safety. I am asking that you keep public safety and especially fire and paramedic response a top priority during these challenging times. In the event that I have a fire or medical emergency I expect my first responders to arrive soon enough to keep the fire from getting out of control or assist me with a life threatening medical emergency. Quality of life includes public safety and you were elected to represent the priorities of the citizens. I hope you will make sure that if I have to call 911 that my services will be provided at the level that exists today.
As I understand it, if you reduce my services I will actually have to pay more for my fire insurance, which is unacceptable. Please maintain our fire and rescue services.
Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb but seeing this level of momentum proves we are not alone in this fight. It is hard to keep going when the city ignores our concerns yet your commitment reminds me why we cannot back down now.

Public safety should be the first priority of any city council. Stop wasting money on useless projects and protect the people who actually work for us.

Unbelievable. Our property taxes are high enough already. If they cut response times my insurance will skyrocket. Fix this.

Keep them funded! My neighbor had a heart attack last year and the paramedics were there in minutes. We would have lost him otherwise.
