The town finally backed off and withdrew the cease and desist order against Conway Farm. They realized they could not bully a local institution into silence. Keep your eyes open to ensure they do not try this nonsense again.
The town of Merrimac is trying to enforce a cease and desist letter to remove the farm animals because of "noise and odor". We are petitioning that the farm does not omit a noxious odor or obnoxious noise. Please sign in support of keeping Conway Farm!
**This is a free petition and any money donated goes to ipetitions.com and not the Conway's.
The town council thinks they can push the Conways around while we watch from the sidelines but we are about to hit 500 signatures. Blast this link to everyone you know right now so we can stop these bureaucrats in their tracks.

I visited this farm last week. My friends hold high standards of care for their animals and there is no odor or noise. Their yard is clean and maintained. They have two small children who play in the back yard and would never have an unsafe or un sanitary environment for them . This is a disgrace and their farm should not and never be taken away.

I live on Highland Rd and frequently run on Bear Hill Rd. You would never know from the road that they have farm animals. There are many farms in Merrimac. A cease and desist order to remove the farm animals could affect all the farms in this town.

I've been to the Conway house with their little farm. There is absolutely no smell. The farm is clean and they have done a lot of work to it. The animals are cared for and are very tame.

These animals are not bothering anyone. These animals are planned to be therapy animals and are great with the owners children.
