Seeing this kind of momentum feels heavy because it confirms just how many of us truly fear losing this space. I am worn thin by the city officials but this support gives me the grit to keep pushing ahead.

I have had 3 nephews and a son play at this park, the oldest being 48 years old now. This park is a stable in this community and needs to stay,

Last season was our 1st season at Boykin for softball. They are building up the program. Please give them a chance. My daughter had a great time playing at Boykin & we had planned on going back for the Spring season. If u close the park my daughter will not have a park to play for.
Thank you,
Cynthia

I love Boykin park my brother grew up there, he started playing ball there about 3 or 4 years ago. That park helped my brother tremendously he loves it there. And we have had so many memories there all the jamborees, the late night games, the traveling, and seeing the looks on the players faces when they do good. I love Boykin and always will.

My grandmother helped start the concession at this park. My dad and brother played ball there. It would be a shame to lose it. It does a lot for the youth!

It's a great place for your kids to learn, play, and grow. Our kids love this place! We're one huge ballpark family. I don't wanna see that die. We had more teams this past fall than the park has seen in years. So, it would be a disgrace to take it away from us when we just took over and already made a difference.

I much rather see my tax dollars go to something for the youth than some of the things it is spent on.
