There is a bench in Beverly Park which a group of young girls worked very hard to raise money for as part of their Silver Award in Girl Scouts. They also did work in the gardens and planted trees. I would hate to see the legacy that they left for others to enjoy erased.

I don't see how the proposed changes at Beverly Park benefit the community. For a long time, we had play equipment at both Schaeffer and Beverly... then Schaeffer was mothballed and demolished. Trading one park for another isn't progress or improvement. Why would we ruin a lovely space like Beverly? Taxpayers want MORE for their money; keep Beverely and address drainage problems. Make Schaeffer a park with play equipment as it was when I first moved here. Even at that point, we are only maintaining the status quo from 20 years ago...

This just sounds like an insane use of money & a beautiful family park. Especially since Camp Hill is turning over towards newer & younger families!

I don't think the proposal to change Beverly Park was well thought out. No need for tax dollars to be used for this.

We live on N. 17th St. and we love Beverly Park so much that you’re willing to walk all the way over to where it is because it’s such a wonderful beautiful enjoyable family outdoor recreational area.

Turning this park into a rain garden would be a loss for the children in this community and I can't stand behind it. Please keep it as it is, and fix the drainage issues.

When we moved to Camp Hill five years ago the schools, proximity to Harrisburg, and multiple neighborhood parks (for play) were the big three reasons. It felt like a neighborhood. I’d like to see more, not less, play areas.

Please consider keeping Beverly Park a children’s playground. Our kids need a place outside to go play, different from their backyard and certainly something that attracts them away from video games and online/tv entertainment. The park is a safe and inviting outdoor space for kids and adults alike.

I have utilized this park for nearly 40 years, myself and now my children. The proximity to this park was a huge selling point for my home.

Please keep Beverly as is. My family have enjoyed this park for the past 18 years. My daughters had many play dates and picnics in this lovely park. Let's get the drainage issue resolved, but please do NOT change Beverly!

We have moved cross country are currently renting a house in Camp Hill. We are planning on buying when we find the right house/price. I would seriously reconsider buying in Camp Hill with the current Borough Council attitude.

We moved to the Beverly neighborhood just one year ago. We have two small children and Beverly Park was a huge draw for us. We have spent many afternoons/evenings enjoying this beautiful place that our kids simply call "the park." Please don't take this away from them or the other children who love this park as it is.

Beverly Park is a place where my children can play and enjoy interactions with new friends and old. Great location for a park. Keep Beverly Park as is!

Leave the playground as it is. There is other space available to develop gardens.
Preserve the park as is.
