We, the undersigned wish to record our disgust at the Consultation process for the closure of Beardwood Humanities College as part of BSF, as we were misled and not told the truth about the consequences for our children. We call on the authorities to rescind their decisions to close our school which is improving, in favour of schools that are not performing so well. We do not want to lose the expertise of local teachers & staff. We call on the Minister to reconsider the application of the school to become an Academy. We also support an application for a successor free school or studio school so that our children’s futures can be enhanced & protected.
