We the
undersigned express our opposition to the recent decision by School Governors
to hand over Crown Woods School to the Leigh Academies Trust from September
2014. We are concerned that there has been no meaningful consultation and that
such a decision will damage future educational opportunities of students both
at Crown Woods and across the Borough.
We are asking for this conversion process to be halted until proper consultation has been carried out and that parents, staff and students are allowed to vote on the issue.
