I sign this petition in favour of no development at Benoni Country Club, and I am strongly opposed to the sale of the land to Developers or for Development of any kind.

The country club is a place where kids adults alike can enjoy them self in a secure friendly environment, if it be Cycling, off reading, golf, tennis.. this is a place for People in and out of the Benoni area come to relax, spend time with family. KEEP IT OPEN!!
I live across from the BCC in van Rooyen str, and have to contend with the heavy traffic coming and going to Ebotse on a daily basis. There is no way this area can afford more congestion with further housing developments. Stop the greediness!!
I sign in favour of NO development at Benoni Country Club. This non development allows this course to be used by the "Man in the Street" and not just the wealthy few. And I am strongly opposed to the sale of the land to Developers or for Development of any kind.
the infrastructure in Morehill is already under a tremendous amount of pressure. adding another 1000 odd homes will cause for the collapse of water supply, electricity and sewerage. Not to mention the traffic getting out of Morehill in the morning.
Benoni CC is a much needed green belt area for the environment, for nature and it provides access to recreational and social activities for the Benoni Community. We do not need more housing estates on this property. The infrustracture will not handle it.

BCC has been the centre of so many community projects and social gatherings. There are so few places available to families to enjoy nature and spend quality time together. Such places are integral to a happy community, if anything we need more of them.
