My school is getting closed down.


It is a place which has taught me much more than I ever thought it would. And despite all the hardships and pain I have endured within those walls, I've come to appreciate my highschool for what it is - not just a pile of bricks, but a home, a community, a safe place, a new beginning.

It is filled with some of the most selfless, supportive determined and kind people you will EVER meet, and against all odds they've fought for this school with all their might -
Now it's our turn to fight for what WE believe is right.

I don't know of this will make a difference, or if this is deep and moving enough to get your attention - I have no idea if anyone will see this petition, let alone sign it, but I've learned that no matter what, you MUST keep TRYING, pushing and defending your cause.
This is our cause and I hope that you will join me and my second family in this fight against the odds.

Our school is The Humanitarian High School in Sliven, Bulgaria and if there's one thing we've learned in all our years there, it is that you should never lose faith in humanity and the kindness of the people around the world. And now I'm counting on you, whoever you may be, to please support us by giving something as small as your signature. It is something seemingly insignificant that will make all the difference.
