For as long as I can ever remember citizens of Sault Ste Marie have always been refered to as "Sault-ites". There is now a local website who insistantly refer to us Sault-ites as "Saultbies". I believe this to be a degrading term, an insult to our intelligence. If you'd like to continue to be refered to as Sault-ites and not Saultbies then let your voice be heard and sign my petition. Maybe we can get the message across to those who wish to continue to slight the good people of Sault Ste Marie. Long live Sault-ites!!
