It is noted that everyone who signs this is thankful and appreciative of our school staff and board. However, we demand fluent communication from our school directors and that masks become OPTIONAL for students while in the building.

The scale of this response confirms that our community expects an immediate policy change regarding mask mandates. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the school board members to request a dedicated meeting to discuss these requirements.

All medical decisions should be made between a parent and their physician. There are numerous studies you can find on national institute of health showing that cloth masks do nothing to help but drastically increase the chance of getting sick.
Health and medicines are not a one size fits all thing. Stop acting like it is. Unmask our children. Mask do not stop the spread. Children touch their face and mask all day long. If this pandemic is so real we wouldn't have our kids in school and playing sports.
Dewine says if a child is vaccinated or has a mask on they no longer have to be quarantined, this is a very poor reason to be forcing masks on our children. Let it be a choice!
I believe that masks are hurting my child’s mental health and weakening her immune system. Why can I enjoy being free but my child cannot?
Honestly I think they’re just unnecessary because even when people do wear them they can still get Covid. Plus teachers want us to have “the best high school experience” but how are we supposed to do that when we can see each others face, see people’s smiles, or be within like 6-7 feet from them? Right doesnt make sense.

Masks Don’t work it’s not a pandemic and vaccine is more likely to kill you then protect you.

If I can walk freely all day without a mask then so should my children!! Why is it ok to congregate at football games etc. without a mask in large groups of people but not at a desk in school!
