I have spent my mornings reading your messages about how difficult these past few months have been for our kids. Seeing how many families feel the same pressure reminds me why I started this because we have to put our children first.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only parent who feels this way about our children. It means everything to know that so many of you are fighting right alongside me to protect our family choices.

This issue has already been voted on. If this decision is overturned parents should consider keeping their children home on Sept 17th the 3rd Friday of September when membership is taken for school funding. This will send a clear message to the board regarding how parents feel about such a reversal.

I homeschooled last year because of our district's mask mandate. Let's make sure we keep masks OPTIONAL!

I see children's social development of seeing facial expressions as more important than a virus where the deaths of those under 25 account for .2% of total deaths in the US (about 788 ppl).

Fortunately children are pretty resistant to the effects of this virus. Masking our kids isn't for their benefit, it's for peace of mind for adults. Everyone over the age of twelve who would like to be vaccinated has had the opportunity to do so. People are able to take precautions if they so desire, but that should be their personal choice, just as westing a mask should be the parents choice.

The parents that are worried about their kids getting COVID, those parents can keep their kids home, virtually learning!
NOT our kids, whose parents don't don't want their children wearing masks!

Forcing a mask mandate on us after already voting for a choice mask policy has nothing to do with our children
If you change your vote you are giving in to the bullies and the harassment that force this motion to be brought back and voted on
If you change your vote you’re also telling us that you know how to raise our kids better than we do
