Help and we could make history here together!!!
Such a beautiful area and so under used.
We are petitioning to re-vamp this area with pretty colourful beach huts (market stalls) which could be rented out to local traders to sell local produce, arts, crafts and toys. Perhaps even rowing boat / pedalo hire (it's tidal but it was done in the past - timing is key!)you can just picture it right? In general - we are hoping to petition for a family day out which is there perpetually
The Hopper bus could run from the town centre helping with the much dreaded hill and local traders are already pricing up the beach huts.
Saltash is the beautiful Gateway to our picturesque county - but how many potential holiday makers are we losing that are just using Saltash as a thoroughfare and not actually stopping. Families driving over the bridge would see the colourful vibrant waterfront and want to stop.... the opportunities are endless!
Here's a bit of history you might not have known - fresh oysters and seafood was sold down there and until the water was polluted, the oysters were from Saltash. The local Council still pay £1 a year to keep the oyster rights should the water improve!
good idea of timed right, we need.more family friendly places be good now theres regular buses from plymouth too.
