This petition has been created in response to Jersey Peeps Facebook wall post regarding Fort Regent being restored to a amusement park, like it was in the 1980's including the Swimming Pool.

If we can get 2,000 onlinesignatures or more, maybe the States of Jersey will start taking note, and reconsider their options when it comes to the Forts Future, this is your chance to have your say and make a difference for the generations ahead.

i cant believe how much momentum is building around this idea. seeing so many people remember the old days of the pool and the park really shows how much this place means to us.

Frequent user of the pool, and afterwards cafe/bar and much of the rest of the Fort. Those politicians that firstly allowed the pool to close, to favour the Aqua Splash, and those that have let the Fort, especially the pool area, to get into the state it us now in should be ashamed of themselves, their actions and should publicly apologise

Fort Regent with the high dive bar, ramparts, crazy golf, play ground, roller skating, discos, swimming pool and shows were all part of my growing up and it's a shame that the youth of today don't have the same facilities in one area.

I spent many a happy hour here when on hoilday in the 80s. Came to jersey on hoilday last year for the first time in 20 years and thought id pay it a visit. Was so sad to see what it has become.

It was a fabulous entertainment centre, sporting and concert venue and a destination worth visiting in ALL WEATHERS. Jersey could do with this right now.

I loved the fort as a child and my parents always knew that I was having fun in a safe, relatively enclosed environment with plenty of available activities to keep me occupied and out of trouble. Best of all, it was affordable and not unreasonably expensive.

I was born in 1981 and my earliest memories are going up to the fort every weekend with my family. It was a great day out for all ages and really needs to be restored to its former glory.

Terrible how this building is being left to rot, probably beyond repair then it will be knocked down. Spent my childhood at the Fort playing in the park, crazy golf, swimming and so much more. Really hope this comes to fruition so future generations can enjoy. 🤞

I lived at the Fort as a child. Loved the place. Bring it back to it's former glory.
