Email your local representative today and demand they prioritize traffic calming measures on our blocks.

5356 E. Monlaco Rd. Was out watching traffic yesterday on Monlaco. TOO MANY GOING TO FAST. Speed limit is 30, some were going at least 55/60. Does some child have to be killed for the city to look into slowing these cars down ?
I have been trying for a few years to get a radar officer or a trailer w photographs on Charlemagne south of Wardlow Rd to no avail. Many are going over 40 or 50 mph during school/work travel times. Please help! There are many elementary and Jr High age kids riding bikes and walking in groups. LB Police please help with this issue.

5415 E Monlaco Road Drivers use Monlaco to cut between Clark and Bellflower, in both directions, travelling too quickly. That, in addition to the extra traffic to the park, really requires additional thought and planning to address this risk. Speed limits and sometimes stop signs are not being honored. I know this is a challenging problem with the fire station at the end of the street. But, please... look at alternatives for speed control and safety
