I still feel the shake in my hands every time I have to walk past that crossing after my near miss. Reading your stories about other close calls at this exact spot proves that my experience was not just a one-time accident but a systemic failure. I am putting together a formal report for the local council to show them exactly how dangerous this intersection has become for all of us.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me how dangerous that crossing felt when that car almost hit me. It is incredibly heartening to know so many neighbors feel the same urgency to make our streets safer for everyone.

It is dodgy there. Cars coming from all directions. A pelican crossing with lights would help, imho.
Yes something will need to be done about the co op crossing its so dangerous to pedestrians i was with andy at the time and i was in care of my pals wee baby girl i was halfway out on the middle of the crossing when this car came speeding are they waiting till someone gets killed or what? before doing anything about this crossing it beggers beleif.
As a driver this is a great bit of road but not planned well for pedestrians to cross. Please fix it before someone loses their life.Lives are more important than large motor vehicles.
This area of Campbeltown is so dangerous for pedestrians. A popular supermarket entrance/ exit and a 3 way junction just after. Something needs to be done before there is a serious accident.
I signed this petition as I nearly paid with my life today on this crossing time something was done ✅ about it before someone gets killed

Definitely needs to be a crossing around the Co-op, trying to cross the roads there is really hard.

this is worst crossing ever and the brown bit to help partially blind is so confusing for ppl ant most think when you are on that cars must stop but that not the law
