There is a homeless man who has been living in the alley on Haskell Street. Several neighbors have reported it to APD, but they have not done anything about the situation. On several occasions, he was found passed out in the middle of the alley, preventing cars and anyone from passing, he consistently leaves beer cans and bottles all over the alley and has been found sleeping in the homes under construction. It has become a safety concern as well as a potential liability if anything happens on someone's property.
We need to be taking better care of our alleyways. This is essentially my front drive and there is a daily gathering, not dangerous, but certainly takes away from the area and cleanliness of the neighborhood. I hope the city can find an answer for housing the homeless, but allowing people to live against/outside of peoples homes and against their fence lines shouldn't be it.
