Create safe walkways for pedestrians on Santa Monica Boulevard! There are signs that signify that pedestrians may be crossing but there isn't a signal that lets you know if one actually IS!!! Medians strewn with tall monkey grass obscure whether or not someone may be standing there waiting to dart into traffic and as I've seen many times someone crossing from the opposite side of the street may be obscured by traffic in the other lane. Put in some sort of signal (yellow blinking lights, red blinking lights, a clown with a flashlight, hell even one of those guys twirling a sign...) to let drivers know that there is actually someone crossing the street and assure pedestrians that they will be seen and do in fact have the right of way.
