Put a Traffic Light at the Corner of Cross Country Blvd. & Strathmore Ave.
Severely reduced visibility caused by the curves in the road causes frequent vehicular accidents to occur at this corner. This corner is only one block away from a public elementary school and the bus for several private schools drops off and picks up children at this corner. Many children and other pedestrians cross this treacherous corner every day.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to install a traffic light at the 3100 block of W. Strathmore Avenue and 6300 block of Cross Country Boulevard.

One hundred people have signed this to demand safety at this intersection. It has been exhausting to keep pushing when progress feels slow but seeing this number gives me a reason to keep going.

we walk our dog here everyday and i hold my breath every single time we reach that curve. its just an accident waiting to happen.
its terrifying trying to pull out of strathmore during school drop off time. you literally cant see the oncoming traffic until they are right on top of you.
I almost got hit here twice last month. people fly around that turn way too fast and dont even look for kids.
FIX THIS DANGEROUS INTERSECTION BEFORE A CHILD GETS KILLED. ITS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR YEARS AND NOBODY LISTENS
way too many near misses. put a light up already.

there is a bend on Cross COuntry that makes it so difficult to see when cars are rushing to and passing Strathmore intersection. This has caused many accidents. I lived on the corner from 1989 and it has been horrific.
