RTA Pedestrian crossing and Bus routes - Obaidalla Residents, Al Qusais

We are Residents of Obaidalla (OBD) building comprising of 580 plus apartments occupied by Emirates staff on Damascus Street, Al Qusais.
This petition is requesting RTA to ease the commuters of OBD residents and others by facilitating:
- Multiple Pedestrian crossings
- Additional bus routes
Currently, RTA bus route to OBD (Opposite Block 5) via multiple buses and the commuters are supposed to walk 1 to 2 km forward or backward to reach the signal and pedestrian to reach the OBD buildings.
Each apartment will have min 2 commuter on a daily basis in and out of the Damascus street from OBD. Jaywalking will be easier but not safe and violating the RTA Rule.
Bus routes are limited from this area forcing tenants to opt for cars to even to drop the kids to school within Qusais and Al Nahda areas.
This will benefit the Commercial shops, Restaurants, Salons and Banks if adequate bus routes and zebra crossing facilitated here.
We request support of RTA for pedestrian crossings across the road the OBD Building side and additional bus routes connecting Metro stations and other bus stops.
This will encourage OBD tenants to opt for RTA public Transport in place of multiple personal transports contributing to Green environment.
Kindly consider and facilitate our request at the earliest possible.

I just spent the morning watching people try to cross Damascus Street and it honestly makes my stomach turn because the current setup is just not built for human beings. I have been fielding so many messages from neighbors who are just as tired of the long walks as I am and it really confirms we are asking for something that is long overdue.

Truly a pedestrian crossing is needed preferably near the bus stops of Damascus street 3 and 4. Also bus route F08 coming back route from Dubai festival city does not pass through Damascus street 3 and 4 where residents of Obaidalla building travel daily.
My office is at Business Bay and every day i need to commute every day. request for Foot Bridge or pedestrian signal on Damascus Street,Opp to Abattoor is appreciated.
Its very difficult to cross the road everyday. As my bus comes in the morning and evening the opposite side of the road. I’ve to walk everyday 2 Kms to reach my bus and to get back Home
We need a pedestrian crossing too many families with kids use the bus and very long walk to get to the zebra crossing.
Please approve a pedestrian crossing for the obaidullah residents as the population is pretty high..this will be of great help to those with kids and elderly.thankyou.
Request for an arrangement for pedestrians to cross the road between Damascus Road 3 and Damascus Road Etisalat bus stops. Thank you.

Need bridge to cross road as on the way back from office special in hot summer will not bearable to walk all the way from bus stop damascus road 3 or crossing from zebra crossing. Not only me but women and young children also facing this issue. Of course it is not safe to cross 3 lane road from anywhere.
