Our current boathouse is so far over originally designed capacity that it isn’t even funny. We have upwards of 500 high school athletes alone and would have more if we had space in the existing structure.

An indication of need is the fact that the current facilities are in almost constant use for the entire duration that weather allows for rowing over the year. The current facilities are over crowded and in use every day supporting thousands of Rowers with the number growing every month!

I got the chance to be part of Battlefield's team. They didn't have room for us in 2020 - they don't have room for new teams now. I encourage our county supervisors to go look and see what the problem is with the current boathouse and resolve to fix it.

A larger boathouse is long overdue. Current programs are overflowing into trailers in the parking lot. There isn't any room for additional programs. PW County has a county facility that is knows isn't big enough to support the county residents but is doing nothing about it. WHY?

fully support a new boat: include amenities such as a room for fitness and erg training/competition, team lockers, rest rooms, water utilities to hose off boats, team meeting rooms, complete boathouse maintenance space.

rowing programs at the Oxford Boathouse have kept my child doing something he loved and something positive through a hard time in his life due to family situation . He has made lifelong friends. The program has done so much!

Rowing has helped my son learn the value of hard work and teamwork. The current boathouse is beyond capacity and has boats literally stacked to the ceiling. There is no room for additional boats and equipment which prevents expanding the number of rowing opportunities beyond the current capacity. Please provide the resources necessary to build an additional boathouse and dock facilities.
