This petition is to improve road safety outside the hospital. The 30mph speed limit needs to be extended on Bow arrow lane to the junction on cotton lane.
The recent housing developments has caused a substantial increase in traffic flow and the parked cars have reduced visibility increasing the risk of vulnerable people being hit by a moving vehicle.
By having reduced speed limits and double yellow lines in place at the entrances to the hospital we will reduce the likelihood of someone being seriously injured.
We will appreciate your assistance in improving our patient safety.

I have been reviewing the many accounts of near misses shared in the comments section. These firsthand reports confirm that the current traffic conditions present a genuine danger to those entering the hospital grounds. I am currently preparing these testimonies to present to the local planning office.

The level of support for this initiative indicates that our community recognizes the urgent necessity for safer conditions near the hospital. This momentum provides a significant mandate as we move forward to present our requirements to the local council.

Having visited Littlebrook hospital on numerous occasions, I have noticed significent increase in parked cars reducing visibility and increasing the potential for accidents at both entrances into the site. I support a reduced speed limit and double yellow lines to improve safety for both motorists and pedestrians.
We are entrusted to maintain the safety of our vulnerable patient group; the increased risk of being hit by motor traffic is extremely HIGH. One literally CANNOT see oncoming traffic or pedestrains with the current lack of parking and speed restricitions.
I think the spead limit ought to be 20 miles per hour - people zoom along that road and I hate coming out of the entrences of the hospital about 5.00/6.00 onwards as you just cannot see what is coming due to the cars parked.

This needs to happen as a matter of urgency!
There is going to be a bad accident before long, No ONE will give way, and the speed is out of control, so many people park on the counersand block all veiw either way, sooner the better before someone is hurt seriously
Very dangerous. Had a few "near misses" of cars speeding down and not giving way according to road traffic rules
