The post office finally pulled the plans for those central mailboxes and we can keep our home delivery. It has been a long and draining fight but I am relieved that we can finally put this behind us. Keep checking your porches because these things have a way of coming …

Please sign this petition in order to try and STOP the central mailbox units from being put throughout our community! This not good for our community for a number of reasons inconvenience being a large one! Even if you aren't affected by first centralized units put in, you will eventually be recieving them! Thanks for your support!

Reaching this point has been physically draining but seeing this many neighbors agree is a quiet relief. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle against these developers yet the momentum proves we are not alone in this fight.

After the experience of living in a condo with these type of mailboxes, I looked forward to having my own mailbox. My magazines were always creased and torn. Our neighborhood was not designed for this type of set up, and it truly would be a shame to have these eyesores throughout our neighborhood. There has to be a better solution.

We have been told that we must hide our trash cans in the garage, we cant have portable basket ball hoops, satellite dishes must adhere to strict standards, and on and on...but we will have apartment style mailboxes? They just won't fit into the style of the neighborhood!

This neighborhood is entirely too large to accommodate central mail units. While the community is still growing, it will only become more burdensome on the residents.

Please do not do this. The children especially love putting mail in the mail box and collecting it after school. It would be very sad.

This was not in the planned development when I purchased and should not be allowed

As a disabled veteran, this is completely unexceptable. I, along with my neighbor's pay our taxes and deserve to have our mail delivered to our homes. We have established mailboxes, keep using them.

Is this a real thing? I just moved in and this is NOT OK with me.
