Unacceptable!!! Is there a lawyer in the neighborhood? Do we have legal options to prevent this from happening? Is the HOA on our side on this and if not can we put our HOA fees in escrow or something until they are?

After the experience of living in a condo with these type of mailboxes, I looked forward to having my own mailbox. My magazines were always creased and torn. Our neighborhood was not designed for this type of set up, and it truly would be a shame to have these eyesores throughout our neighborhood. There has to be a better solution.

We have been told that we must hide our trash cans in the garage, we cant have portable basket ball hoops, satellite dishes must adhere to strict standards, and on and on...but we will have apartment style mailboxes? They just won't fit into the style of the neighborhood!

We do not want a central mailbox, it will reduce our property values, be an inconvenience and an eyesore, and a horrible idea.

This neighborhood is entirely too large to accommodate central mail units. While the community is still growing, it will only become more burdensome on the residents.

Please do not do this. The children especially love putting mail in the mail box and collecting it after school. It would be very sad.

Why is this even being considered! This is not an apartment complex or a condo community. No Brainer. My house may be immediately put up for sale should this happen. Just stupid...
