This petition has been set up by the residents of Muirdrum to gain support AGAINST the proposed Petrol Station between the Muirdrum and the A92. Not only will this have a detrimental environmental effect on the quiet and tranquil village life that so many of us love, It makes no sense to build a petrol station when one has been approved to build at the new Asda 5 minutes away.
In addition, if this is approved it will set a precedent for future development of the surrounding countryside.
Please support us by objecting to this application and signing this petition. A hard copy will also be availabe in AllstarsBar Carnoustie and local business by the end of the week.

Bad idea. Once you start paving over the countryside you dont get it back.
Total waste of money and space. The A92 is busy enough as it is without adding more chaos to the junction.
Ridiculous proposal. Think of the wildlife and the local traffic. Hope the council actually listens to us for once.
NO! We moved here for the peace and quiet not to live next to a motorway service station. Leave our village alone.
We dont need another petrol station within 5 minutes of each other. Its just gonna ruin the roads and noise levels for everyone living nearby.
