We, the undersigned:
1. Sincerely request the owners of 57 Dunn Bay Road Dunsborough to respect the views of the Dunsborough community, the City of Busselton and the South West Joint Development Assessment Panel (SWJDAP) and NOT proceed with the proposed development of a Puma Convenience Store/Petrol Station on Dunn Bay Rd. We ask that instead they work with other parties to reach a mutually acceptable solution; and
2. Request Puma Energy to NOT site its Convenience Store/Petrol Station at 57 Dunn Bay Rd (in the middle of the Dunsborough CBD) AGAINST the wishes of the Community, instead locating their development on a site more suited for this purpose.

I just looked at the count and we are almost at a thousand signatures which honestly feels wild because I started this in my kitchen while drinking cold coffee. If you could just ping this link to that one group chat you have or even just post it on your timeline right now it might actually tip us over the edge before the weekend gets here.

I was walking past Dunn Bay Road earlier and it just hit me all over again how wrong this location feels for a petrol station. Some of you have been sending me notes about the traffic flow already and honestly keep them coming because I am compiling everything I can to prove that nobody actually wants this here.

I checked the page just now and saw we are creeping up on that first hundred mark which actually still feels kind of surreal to be honest. If everyone reading this just grabs one other person who cares about the town center and links them here we can hit that goal before the day is out and show them we are not just going to let this happen.

This site is entirely unsuitable for a petrol station. It will destroy the feel of the town, increase terrible road congestion, make it unsafe for pedestrians & put the neaerby creek ( of cultural signifigance) at risk of environmetal damage.
I oppose this development. 1. It is aesthetically unappealing, and Dunsborough's style should be consistent - not loud American design. 2. Congestion and parking is already a severe problem in the centre of the town. Encourage cars further out than Dunn Bay Road.
A third petrol station within a 200m stretch in not needed nor wanted. Increasing congestion, reducing the safety of pedestrians and cyclists within the town centre and negatively impacting on our town aesthetics. That site is not the right place for it!
I am strongly against a petrol station of any kind being build in this location. I would however think that a petrol station/ convenience store in the new LIA would be a great idea and well used by all in that area as well as Dunsborough Lakes residents.
We have family living in Dunsborough and we've visit often. We agree with the locals who are asking you to move your petrol station ( with its 'convenience store') far away from the town area. Signed Ruve Wallace 46 Gradara Ave Otorohanga NZ
I had moved to Brisbane from Perth and I support Puma2Go. No more petrol station on the Dunsborough city center
No more petrol stations in Dunsborough please, there is already way too much traffic in a pedestrian heavy area

Two petrol distributors in town is plenty. There are never significant lines to buy fuel even in the height of summer. So there is no need from a consumer perspective, and it would clearly detract from the character of Dunsborough
