The hereby undersigned people are requesting and/or demanding that the Mineral County School Board rescind and eliminate the mask mandate requirement for all persons entering schools that was established August 17th 2021.

Please rescind the mask mandate. It is not fair to the children and/or staff to endure this horrendous custom, which is compromising everybody's immune system As well, it infringes on our constitutional rights. I urge you, for the safety of these children and school staff to remove this mandate immediately. Thank you!
I feel if adults can attend a high school football game packed in a stadium full of people without masks, then my child should be able to get educated without a mask. These kids need to be able to see teachers faces, peers faces. In kindergarten they are learning sounds of letters and it is so important to see faces.
I totally agree to do away with the mask. I have granddaughters in primary school and both have been wearing their masks as they are supposed to, and the youngest one carries a headache all week....assuming it is from the mask wearing..
Children need to see faces. The physical and psychological harm the masks are doing to children do not outweigh the benefits. The benefits are so minute this shouldn't even be a discussion. RSV in children is on the rise since these mask mandates have come out. Unmask our children before the harm being inflicted cannot be reversed.
The other day, while I waited for my daughter, I watched 15-20 kids walk in 85 degree weather and go to the football field and participate gym with a mask on!! I understand the concern for their safety but this needs to stop.
It's time!! I feel our Mineral County Board will keep these children masked up till the end of time.

Medical and health decisions of children are the sole responsiblity of their parent/guardian, not the school. Children are not at risk and there is no science that shows masks are even effective.
