Intention for Meeting To Preserve our Association and move forward in supporting our members.
We the current standing members of the SDAA are requesting a special meeting to discuss the proposed changes to the registration, renewal process, licensure, and insurability issues that have come up. We would like this meeting to be in person either in Regina or Saskatoon the first weekend in January 2024 to give us time and understanding of how these changes will effect us and the Association members in general.

The formal request for a meeting has been delivered to the SDAA leadership this morning. I am currently drafting a list of specific agenda items regarding licensure and insurability to ensure our discussion remains focused on these operational concerns.

The scale of this response confirms the urgency of the registration and licensure concerns. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the SDAA Council to present these signatures and demand a firm schedule for the requested meeting.

THINGS NEED TO CHANGE. stop ignoring the people who actually do the work.
This is ridiculous. Fees keep going up but I dont see any benefits for us. We need some real answers about whats happening with our license.
Just want to know why nobody is talking to us. Getting pretty sick of the runaround.
Does anyone actually know what the new insurance rules mean for us?? Because Im lost and I dont want to find out later that I cant work because someone forgot to explain it clearly.
I feel the Sdaa is not the same anymore since they changed They don’t care about the Dental Assistants at all anymore they just want our money Plus charging us more when we pay our own insurance When I have had questions am confused about what I need to do or lost an email and asked them to resend what I need to do I feel they get mad easily and make me feel stupid or then I feel bad because they get mad at me As well a leader should either be a Dental Assistant or have Dental background Get the Dentists involved not people off the street who have no Dental experience or any knowledge whatsoever

The lack of communication is honestly embarrassing. I have been calling and emailing for weeks with zero response from anyone at the office. Start acting like you work for us.
