This petition is for BUSS 215 students from all sections who believe that the final exam should be replaced with a final group project.

This is especially due to the nature of the course and its material, and as a result students' experience in the mid-term exam, where the material to be studied and the method of studying caused confusion to a considerable number of students.

By replacing the common final exam with group projects (with the requirements being decided on by each instructor for his/her own section (s)), the instructors will have greater flexibility in teaching the content of the course for the remainder of the semester and students will be better able to apply the knowledge gained in the course due to the assessment being more tailored to the material taken in their specific classes.
