This is a petition for all students that have gone through the Mechanics of Materials II final exam at Griffith University and believe that the exam was unfair. The petition is also for people who believe that they were mislead by Dr Hassan Karampour's teachings throughout the semester, as well as his instructions for the preparation of the final exam.
Please do not forget to write down your student number if you wish to sign the petition.

I honestly did not think so many people would actually come forward because it felt like I was the only one stuck staring at those exam pages in silence. Seeing this momentum grow makes me feel like maybe we were not just imagining how completely disconnected the final questions were from the actual lectures we sat through.

I would like to mention that in the 29th Oct lecture .. Dr. Hassan said that the questions difficulty will be the same as the average questions in the assignment or lower .. but in the exam they were obviously more difficult.
Exam was very hard. Hassan made us believe it was going to be easy and straight forward and similar to tutorial, in class and assignment examples, however it was much different to Hassan's instructions and felt very unfair.

The 50% mark for the correct answer is a little bit harsh. No problem with the difficulty of the questions though
