To: The Florida Senate

We demand that you change laws banning pipes and bongs in the state of Florida.

Most Floridians are against bill 49 because they feel it is constitutionally unethical. It stops glass blowers from being able to freely express themselves. Glass blowing is considered an art and many people live off their glass blowing art. The government cannot and should not be able to take away an individual’s ability to express who they are.

The penalties imposed are completely outrageous. The government considers the use or possession of what they deem to be “drug paraphernalia” to be a third degree felony. This means that if a person has an unused pipe it will make a person a Felon and they will no longer have the right to vote.

We have a plan to stop this.

As American citizens, we need to stand up for our rights and let the government know that we will not continue to let them strip away our rights. We believe in the 10th Amendment which says that the Federal Government only has the ability to pass laws on issues that Constitution actually has authority over.
