House bill 2404 puts electronic cigarettes in the same classification as regular cigarettes. Once again this will infringe upon our right and the choice we made to better our health and lead our healthy lifestyle, all because the vapor that is exhaled from a electric cigarette looks like tobacco smoke.
We have launched a campaign to show our distaste for these bills. We need to show the legislators that these bills are opposed, they will damage public health, economic growth through small businesses and take way our rights. Even if you are not user of electronic cigarettes, i urge you to sign this petition with the hopes that one day vaping will be the biggest impact on bringing down tobacco related deaths.

ECigs have enabled me to be analog free for almost 2 years. This is a much healthier alternative! Please allow the freedom of choice!
i feel alot better vaping than smoking i feel like i can run a mile now when i was smoking i could barely run ten feet without having stop and catch my breath
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. This kind of hell is a world where people could find a healthier alternative to cigarettes, but instead can't buy e-juice because they will face the same charge as battery.
You would sentence so many people to a life of lung cancer and heart disease if you pass this bill. I used to smoke a pack a day and would cough up god knows what before I started vaping. The patch, gums and pills have some of the worst side effects I have seen and experienced in my life.
I wonder how the woman who first put this bill forward would feel if the government started to regulate the amount of sugar and fats she ate?
Vaping is not the same as smoking. If this bill passes I will move out of Illinois I promise.
Whoever made this bill is in Big Tabacco's pocket and its disgusting. Crooked politicians.

Vaping saved my life. Father dies of lung cancer due to smoking and I was up to 2 packs a day before I found vaping. This ban would kill me and many others by sending us back to smoking.
