Growing up in West Tampa Coach Wright has always been a staple in the community he helped create a Safe Haven for a lot of us inner city kids by giving us the opportunity to play ball.
Coach wright is the pillar of our community… IM 31 years old and when I was growing up no one in our neighborhood had free sports . But then we learned about coach wright and the rest was history. We love this man but he loves us more . Name the street after a legend
The Greatest earthly man that I have ever known. Mr. Wright gave his so much to the children and adults in West Tampa, his kindness, quiet strength, great character, gentleness, respect and Love of baseball to so many in West Tampa. I've never met anyone like him. Well done Sir.
Saved my Life when i was at the fork in the road and my family is still benefiting from that moment today
Coach Wright has been a pillar in our community for over 50 years dedicating his time and service! It’s only right we honor his name and continue his legacy!!

He deserves this for some many reasons. He’s A leader, honest, and a man with integrity that dedicated so many years to the youth and his community selflessly. This would be a well deserved and great honor to show Coach Wright just how much his efforts are valued.

Coach Wright was a hero to everyone who had a chance to be in his presence. Being able to know someone like him was a blessing he always made sure he looked out for others kids coaches parents anyone who had a chance to meet him I’m sure felt this way. Coach Wright one of a kind.
