We, the undersigned, require Sandfields (Lichfield) Man Ltd T/A HLM Property Management, to remove the parking restriction signage which appeared across the Persimmon Sandfields residential estate in Lichfield on Thursday 24th November 2011 without any form of consultation whatsoever. We feel that the signage is inappropriate for the residential area, intrusive, intimidating, threatening and unwelcoming to residents and visitors alike, and we beleive that it may even affect the potential re-sale value of properties on the estate because of these affects. We object strongly to the management company's approach, especially since the action they have taken will result in residents being enforced to pay for the signage and the subsequent monitoring/surveillance costs which will ensue through the dedictated warden scheme for which, no consent has been sought or agreed to. We believe that any existing disputes that may exist on the estate should be dealt with in a more appropriate, alternative manner between the parties concerned; which should not impede or affect the rest of the population on the estate in terms of disaffection and monetary costs, as these signs do.
