Recently, the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors Bermuda Representative, Dorothy Jaeckle, made inflammatory remarks regarding Chesterfield County Public Schools homeless family population and immigrant family population. Mrs. Jaeckle believes that homeless families should place their children in foster care, and that classrooms benefited from the "Day without Immigrants", as all children in attendance that day were "English-speaking". Mrs. Jaeckle has a complete lack of understanding of poverty, non-english speaking families, and their struggles. It is her moral and constitutional obligation to represent all of her constituents, and she is failing to do so. We are asking that she be removed from office, immediately.
