Topeka Police Officer Michael Cruse has shown reckless behavior and unsafe responses in multiple incidences starting in 2001 recklessly driving running a stop sign and killing My Grandpa Leonard Porter, again in 2015 shooting a 26 lb dog (He felt threatened) , and now in the shooting death this year of Dominique White. HE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED , HE WAS FIRED AFTER THE INCIDENT IN 2001 AND YET REHIRED AFTER ONLY A YEAR. He does not make the City of Topeka Safe nor Protect and Serve.

Cruse does not use good judgement. When he committed the first murder (Butch Porter) he was violating the law by speeding without lights and sirens and running a red light at a 4 way stop. I see countless law enforcement who violate the speed limit most any day of the week. The second killing by Cruse while a police officer he was invading the backyard of a homeowner whose alarm had gone off and felt "threatened" by a small dog that was frightened by this stranger in its territory. Really? Then his third killing he shot a man (Dominique White) in the back after first telling Mr. White that he was not under arrest and then assaulting him by grabbing his arm. Clean up the force.
Remove this trigger happy scum!!
He is not an influence I want my children to follow!
He is a bad cop. To many things to mention but hope karma comes around to him.
How many people must die before this creature is removed from the TPD permanently!! SAD. VERY SAD!

He has shown numerous times that his decision making skills at serving and protecting are not just lacking but non-existant. This man should not be a cop and should not be able to carry a weapon. If they would have never rehired him after he killed my Uncle Leonard Porter then the others he killed would still be alive. How many deaths have to be on his hands for his superiors to see the truth?
