The Meridian Police Department thinks they can ignore our complaints and keep Officer Blanton on the force like nothing is happening. I am tired of their silence and I am currently documenting every new instance of his harassment to shove in their faces when they try to claim he is a good officer. Do not let these bureaucrats think we have given up because we are just getting started.

The people of Meridian are finally waking up to the reality that Officer Blanton is a danger to this community. City officials can no longer pretend this tyrant is welcome here while our momentum keeps building against his pattern of abuse.

And how come it has taken so long to get this Non professional, bullying, fat pig called on the carpet. And when he does pull you over he has no full thought in his airhead as to the details of the stop. UH Ah, was all we got 4 times in a stop. When asked what that ment "I m not going to argue with you about it"... He has towed my truck from my drive way, layed in wait to harrass my Husbend and I . and when he asked if we had any wepons in our rig...... And what state do You live in Mr. Blanton. HELL yes we have fire arms.......... I think he should pass(try to ) a fitness test. When researched showed that he was ONE point from failing his State Cert. to be in law enforcement. DUMB and Dumber............. He was damn Mall Cop before his reign of terror on our fair town.
We have been on the receiving end of his harassment! I can't believe he is allowed to keep his position!
with cops like him you wonder why people don't respect the police...there are good officers out there and I command them and thank them for the job they do... but Blanton is not one of them !! he abuses his authority.... he's a bully and he needs to be released from being a officer
Blaton is a crook and a liar he thinks because he works for the law he does not have to follow it and thats not right... he also trumps up charges to make his cases bigger then what they are and lies on his reports HE NEEDS TO GO he has been dismissed form other jobs for the same thing...that should tell you something
I also have been followed and harassed by officer Blanton and I do knw he abuses his potion as an officer to find stuff out on certain ppl to go after to harrase them. We shouldnt need to have to sign n e thing to fix the problem cause of his passed from other towns where he worked and before. Its not right nor fair..
I believe he should be fired and thrown in jail

Officer Chris Blanton needed to go but is now up to his same old harassment tactics in Hamilton County. Someone needs to relieve this perverted man of duty as no one of this character should be allowed in the police force
