Anne Jackson priorities do NOT include our children's nor our community's best interests. She has abused her authority and must be excused from her duties as Superintendent of the Jasper City School system
I have spent the last few days formalizing our documentation regarding the superintendent's recent policy shifts. My next step is to present these findings to the board members during their upcoming public session.

The scale of this response has triggered interest from regional news outlets. I am currently coordinating interviews to ensure our demands for leadership change receive formal coverage.

Two children in the Jasper school system and can honestly say this woman never should have been in charge of children. Now a total lack of concern for safety of the students, faculty, and staff of the system she is in charge of has been established. Not only should she be removed but the board itself should be removed and an elected board be placed immediately.

I feel unfair that her position is an appointed one and not an elected. She has overstepped her bounds and abused her power spending loads of money nobody asked her to spend which is now going to become our problem she needs gone

A superintendents ego should take a backseat to all of our children's education. It is clearly shown through the incompetent thinking of Ann Jackson, with the construction of this elaborate new school, but she clearly has not put the Children First in this community! She should have thought of a more economical way to leave her name in the history books of Jasper Alabama. This community paid enough in taxes that we do not need another burden on our shoulders. But since she is part of the "elite", she has clearly chosen to be part of another popularity contest among her constituents. She needs to be removed as soon as possible as we need to think about our children's education instead of those that have no business leading them

Very upset that this school wasn't thought out. I have a special needs child that goes to North Highlands, which North Highlands is moving to the new school. Our kids do not have enough room to take things they need such as ball pit and such. Our kids are to be in a self contained classroom, where as how will that work when they will share the halls, and gym with all of the other students. It was told that our kids would be served lunch in the classroom because of the disrance from the lunchroom. There is No playground for our kids not to mention a football or baseball field. Now they are only letting 1 policeman be at the school to be the resource officer. That's crazy due to Not only his safety, but to our kids and staff.

1) Incompetent with the funds for building the new high school & changing its name to Jasper High instead of keeping it Walker High!! 2)Taking all the resource officers out of all the city schools for everyone's safety & now having only 1 for all schools in the city!

I had planned on enrolling my child within the next 2-3 years, but until Ann Jackson is GONE I will not. And I am a Walker High graduate. I'm ashamed of the ordeal with ONE cop to protect all schools.
