As an alum of Marquette one of the things that I remember the most is how we were mandated to have our shirts tucked in during school hours. Recently, I was made aware that this rule does not exist anymore at the school. I decided that this is something, for some reason I care about and wanted to let the school board and administration know about. I have decided to start an online petition that will be submitted to the school with hopefully 1,000 alums who support the reinstatement of the tuck rule.

I will leave it up to the current administration on how to reimplement and enforce this rule as they see fit. I would also like everyone to know that this is not going to turn into a political action committee that wants everything changed into their ideal rules for Marquette. This is a petition soley to bring back the rule that many of us were forced to abide by. Hopefully together we as a community can bring back something that in some tiny way might make a difference in the men and women who attend our beloved Marquette.
