We the tenants of 7 Lexington Avenue, The Park Gramercy, hereby petition to reinstate Daniel Escalante as our Nighttime Doorman Concierge. He has been with us for twelve years, and since his inception, has been overly welcoming and extremely helpful to all of us. We understand that he was terminated for violating a cell phone policy, however, his work retrospectively has been outstanding. We respectfully ask that this primitive cell phone policy becomes superseded by his absolute working excellence. Thank you for your time. Sincerely; we the tenants.

please reinstate Danny. He is amazing and it's 2018. Watching a movie on his phone during the night shift is the modern equivalent of reading a book.

Danny has been an excellent doorman, and I strongly stand behind this petition. Danny is friendly, kind, attentive, professional, courteous and a pleasure to see in the building. Ian Velardi 9B

Apt. 9-G I have always found Danny to be very nice. When friends of mine come to visit on Saturday evenings and Danny is on, he has always been very pleasant and helpful to them.

Please reinstate Danny who is an extremely polite, helpful and attentive worker and doorman. The letter he received complaining about his personal appearance bothered some of us tenants as it doesn’t represent our views (for example, Danny to me appeared just as preofsssional as the other doormen, as he dressed in uniform as he should and kept his facial hair and hair tidy). I would hate to see the building let a great worker who helped us feel safe and secure go due to a couple people’s personal biases.
