SCLLR has decided to raise annual licenses for the SC Athletic Commission. They have changed the prior License fee for Amateur and Pro MMA contestants from $25 to $75. They have also changed the price for Seconds (Cornermen) from $50 to $100. It is $275 for an Amateur Contestant and his two cornerman annually, which are currently the highest license fees in the Southeast. The cost for an Amateur MMA fighter and his 2 Cornerman is roughly half that in the second highest state, NC at $150. Pro and Amateur Contestant and Cornermen Licenses in GA are $20, and many States in the Southeasthave no license fees for Amateur Contestants and their Cornermen.
