To the People of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate: Please sign this petition to reduce the cost of a business license for tribal artists and crafters. Currently there is a $50 fee for a license and it is required in order to place items for sale in the SWODLI Gift Shop. This fee is a lot of money for some of our members, many of whom are just trying to help support themselves and their family through their arts and crafts. The information about the number of signatures will be presented to the tribe's Tax Commission who meets in December. Help us help our members.

Fifty bucks is way to much when you are just trying to sell a few dreamcatchers to pay for groceries. Keep the money in our hands.
