Help me bring a petition against Arawak Cement Plant. My neighbours are suffering and this company needs to increase the Safety and Health practices.
Silica exposure not only causes cancer but can be the reason for other ailments such as reoccurring headaches, fever, body aches and chest pain to name a few.
While the list of risks to humans can go on, the production of silica amorphous beside the ocean can cause the death of our corals and other marine life as well.
The health reports I receive from members of this community regarding the Arawak Cement Plant remain deeply concerning. I am currently compiling these accounts to present a comprehensive case to the local health authorities. Your experiences continue to provide the necessary evidence to demand improved safety standards.

The momentum behind this petition highlights the urgency of addressing the environmental and health concerns in our community. I am encouraged by the growing consensus that our current situation requires immediate intervention.

Because everyone have the right NOT to have;
-Silicosis, an incurable lung disease that can lead to disability and death;
-Lung cancer;
-Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); and Kidney disease!
