THIS PETITION IS TO BRING TO LIGHT THE DESPERATE NEED FOR BETTER PARKING FACILITIES AT THE REDLAND BAY FERRY TERMINAL. Residents are being parked in by other inconsiderate drivers. Residents are being fined for parking on the street when forced to park outside the dirt overflow parking area. We are asking that council address the situation and build a multi level parking facility.

No infrastructure has been put into planni g parking for Islanders but the council has allowed hundreds of people to live on the Islands. Surely the time has come to do something as probably the majority of Islanders do not get visitors any more as they do not like them to leave vehicles at Redland Bay and have damage done to them. Enough said.
We need more parks .im disabled and have great difficulty getting to the park apon getting off the ferry and return. Every where has puddles as its not tarsealed and level heaps of pot holes. Please do something with it as it is a health and safety concern!!! I nearly fell flat on my face the other day.
We are tired of being continually fined for just trying to get home. Time that the 'boaies' were moved to barge parking and their car.spaces reconfigured for islanders and their visitors to park there.
I live on Macleay Island and sometimes does a night shift at work. It is very hard to find a car park at night and have to pack in the barge car park. Which I have walk, alone, in the dark to get to my ferry home. So to be to get a decent car park closer to the terminal would be good for and others safety
Census nite a joke. Half the islands on wifi...half the time. Not working...So the 10k SMBI population was reported at 5k. So we now have an acute situation. .it's not going away.. we will be 15k. In 3 years... please we need double the parking we have at the moment

Just ordinary good parking. ! Once I , at age of 76, had to climb into the back of a ute to get my key into my car to open it. The ute had parked so close to even knocking my side mirror off.
