We, the undersigned, wish to bring to your attention the inadequate car parking provision at Glasgow Harbour. Modern developments such as this should have ample parking for both residents and guests but this is clearly not the case. Areas such as the traditional West End suffer from this trouble because they were obviously built when cars were not a concern - there should be no excuse to have the same trouble when the whole thing has been organically planned from the start and there are many areas which could be used to ease the congestion. Furthermore, the developers and council should be wanting to attract new buyers to the area in this economic climate, not discourage them by creating a reputation of difficult parking and expensive fines, issued by over-zealous attendants. We urge you to look at our problem and help!
