The Ingles shopping center located at 98 Hwy. 61 Connector, Villa Rica, GA 30180 has been in decline for many years and is considered by many as an eyesore in the community. The retail center was built in 1988 and shows 32 years of use and wear and is in major need of rehabilitation. Ingles chief competitor in the local market, Publix, is currently undergoing a significant renovation. The Ingles Plaza in Villa Rica is dingy, faded paint and roofing, mildewed stucco, and parking lot full of potholes. This petition serves as a public notice to the Ingles Corporation that they need to be a better community partner and address this property which is becoming an increasing blight on our community.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to formally request a meeting with the Ingles regional management team. I am currently drafting a letter that outlines our specific concerns regarding property maintenance and site redevelopment.

I have finalized a formal letter addressed to the Ingles corporate development office outlining the specific maintenance failures at the Villa Rica property. This document will be delivered via certified mail tomorrow to ensure receipt by the executive team. I am currently waiting on a response from the local zoning board regarding potential code enforcement actions for the parking lot condition.

We deserve so much better. We are a growing grocery market with a population in excess of 15,000 in the immediate area. The condition of this Ingles Plaza is an embarrassment to the Ingles brand.

being born and raised in villa rica, I shopped at ingles many times as a kid. I work for the publix in mirror lake but would agree for the sake of our community that the plaza should receive some attention so it may blend with all the businesses that have been renovated surrounding it

I am an Ingle’s customer. It’s sad that surrounding towns have updated stores, while the Villa Rica store is in need of a major facelift. The staff and store product offerings are great, but a refresh would certainly increase and entice new customers.

The Ingles in Villa Rica has looked bad for MANY years. Why does Carrollton and Dallas get brand new Ingles and even gas pumps when the location in Villa Rica looks so bad? Ingles, please renovate this location and make it look as nice as your newer stores!

Please improve and upgrade the Ingles shopping center, making it safer by adding parking lot lights, removing pot holes, adding security and upgrading the look of the shopping center. My husband and I stopped shopping there due to the run down appearance and people hanging out there.

I was coming through the parking lot by the tanning place at night and FELL INTO A HUGE HOLE! It's absolutely ridiculous the size of this hole! Something needs to be done asap! And I'm not taking about crush and run! Come on Villa Rica !

Ingles needs to build a new larger store like the one in Temple. Bring in a Golden Corral there!! Plenty of parking!
