When we learned that Mr. Best was leaving school 28 there was a feeling of loss and disappointment. He is one of the most caring teachers ever and it is important to us that we have him here. Mr. Best brings good vibes wherever he goes. We have felt the love from Mr. Best not only when we were students at School 28 but also after we were sent to Dr. Frank Napier Academy. His presence supersedes the walls of School 28. We don’t understand why anyone would take that away from us.
When it is hard to find an adult that understands (and that happens often) we can always depend on Mr. Best for understanding and guidance. It means a lot to see him in our community and schools. Our time with him is not only filled with fun but life lessons that taught us the seriousness of staying focused and setting goals. Mr. Best showed us how to value each other and the people in our community so that we can help each other. In us Mr. Best planted a seed that helped us see the potential of where we live.
Even though Mr. Best is not a teacher at our school he shows support for our school by attending and participating in different school events. He captures moments at our basketball games on film so that we have memories. He played with us during our field day not because he had to but because he wanted to. You see we are important to him too and lucky for us that we are because Mr. Best makes everything lit. Mr. Best is our friend, gym teacher, helping hand and community participant, may he please stay.

The school board continues to ignore our messages about Mr. Best. Email your local representatives today and demand that they explain why he is being pushed out of our schools.

The energy behind this campaign shows just how much Mr. Best means to our schools. Now we need to move from digital clicks to direct action so send an email to the district office demanding they let him stay. Tag the school board on Facebook to make sure they see we are watching.

This passing school year was my 1st year at school #28 and Mr.Best was by far one of my favioret teachers. When I felt like no teacher would ever understand how I felt he did and I'm very grateful that I got to have him as my gym teacher!! Please let up keep Mr. Best he's one of the best teachers I have ever had!!!
Mr Best is apart of not just school ten but Patersons history. He's apart of the "thing" that's keeps hope alive in paterson. This is his hometown and he's been spiritually. Mentally and physically invested since. Please, politicians have taken everything away from the youth, don't take Someone who is genuinely invested in them.
His is a great teacher that takes out time for the kids .when my daughter was in school 28 he she came home with new sneakers and everything because of him money out of his own pocket
The Paterson School District has a reputation of removing, RIF'n, or transferring the 'GOOD TEACHERS' that have a lastly positive effect on the children. If it ain't broke, why try to fix it??!!??
When I was going through a lot With My daughter Teachers and Principal Castro, Mr. best took time out of his busy schedule to Give me great advice concerning my daughters education! I would hate to see him go
Really one of the best teacher I ever had he was also a teacher in life for me.
Mr best is such a good guy he does a lot to help us and we were curious why he left he did a lot for us and he didn’t have to do what he does but he loves to smiles on kids faces because it makes happy and he loves giving to us He such good a guy and teacher

This is totally unacceptable... How can u get rid of the greatest influential teacher i have ever had in my life. This man helped me better my life detramentally... Made me realize my life was worth living. My kids and wife owe this man a great debt for making me the man that they need and got.
