Bullard Park is a valuable recreational resource to the Village of Albion. As the area's primary park, it provides recreational opportunities to thousands of residents in the Village of Albion, the Town of Albion and Orleans County each year. For many years, members of this community have been developing plans and raising funds to renovate this park so that it can continue serving the area for years to come. The Rebuild Bullard Committee, in partnership with the Village of Albion and other citizen groups, has developed a comprehensive 3 phase plan to conduct all of the necessary improvements to Bullard Park. In order to make this dream a reality, the Village of Albion is applying to the New York State Office Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) for a grant under the Environmental Protection Fund to fund the first phase of this project which will include the construction of a splash park for children as well as the addition of new playground equipment. By signing this petition, I indicate that I am a member of the Albion community and I support this project.

hopeing some of the money raised goes twords rebuilding the skate park! It's part of bollard park too, and as been depleting for the last few years, in a town full of kids that skate.

Please pass this grant application. We, as a small community, don't have the monies to finance such a necessary upgrade to one of our only playgrounds and oarks. I have lived in Albion all my life and would walk to Bullard Park to ice skate and that was 40+ years ago and it hasn't changed very much AT ALL since then! Please help us!

Grant money to Bullard Park would help in making it an end destination for recreation. I would urge a protection of Sandy Creek and enhancement of the trail which follows the creek to show its environmental beauty and historic heritage.

My family has spent many birthday parties at Bullard Park and many times we have wished that the park facilities were improved and the play areas updated. It would be a great investment and provide the community a healthy and safe place to gather and have fun.

We so need this in our county. Why should we go out of this area to let our children have a splash park, when we could keep the revenues that are spent to Monroe or Genesee counties.

As a Non -for -profit corporation that sole mission is to improve the health and wellness of its community members through running, walking and other forms of exercise, having a revitalize Bullard park would provide a great, safe place for us to achieve our goals.

I believe that Bullard Park revitalized would be an attraction to the area not only for kids but for adults as well.
