Bullard Park is a valuable recreational resource to the Village of Albion. As the area's primary park, it provides recreational opportunities to thousands of residents in the Village of Albion, the Town of Albion and Orleans County each year. For many years, members of this community have been developing plans and raising funds to renovate this park so that it can continue serving the area for years to come. The Rebuild Bullard Park Committee, in partnership with the Village of Albion and other citizen groups, has developed a comprehensive 3 phase plan to conduct all of the necessary improvements to Bullard Park. In order to make this dream a reality, the Village of Albion is applying to the New York State Office Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Fund to endow the first phase of this project which will include the construction of a splash park for children as well as the addition of a hiking trail. By signing this petition, I indicate that I am a member of the Albion community and I support this project.

I feel it will benefit the businesses in this town plus it gives other cities to notice this town as well plus I think the crime rate won't be bad either not that it is but the kids will have something to to instead of get into trouble plus I won't have to leave to take my daughter to another park
I played at this park in my childhood and had the most fondest memories here. Would live to bring my grandchildren here also. Loved the horse swings that used to be there! Alot of fun! Looking g forward in seeing the changes that will be made for our children to make happy memories of their own.
My very first job, 50 years age was working on the crew that helped clear the land. The only things there were the Little League Ball Field and the Skating Rink.
Bullard Park is a place where many family functions are possible. Unfortunately, it is in need of many improvements. Please help our community take care of our park so that families have a fun/safe place to build memories.
As Executive Director of the Albion Running Club, we are working to raise funds to help Rebuild Bullard park. Our community needs this park to be revitalized so that families, and individuals can have a safe place to exercise, enjoy family time and better their health and wellness.

This would be a positive improvement for the community but even more importantly it gives access to our kids for recreational opportunities that they may not otherwise have.. Keeping kids engaged in our cummunity is a win win for everyone!!
